Raining but not so windy

The food at the Master Builders was good but not brilliant. The historic setting was fabulous though. We breakfasted very causally and it was clear from the outset that it was likely to rain for most of the day – albeit not heavily. We were in no rush.

Kathy took us down the river and with the wind ESE we tacked all the way to Stokes Bay. We stayed clear of the north and main channels after we had passed Cowes and switched engines on at about 3pm so we could be sure not to be late checking the boat back in.

We were pretty tired after a long day so definitely appreciated having forked out the extra dosh for boat cleaning!
