Outstanding customer service from Musto

During my recent Channel crossing to St. Vaast we had horrendous rain and for the first time my Musto MPX trousers seemed to be leaking. It wasn’t very pleasant and made several hours of the crossing cold. I’ve had them for 5 years so I figured that was reasonable service.

Before replacing them, I contacted Musto because I was hoping re-proofing might be sufficient. Indeed, for £20 a garment they will do this for you – a bargain.

A few days later they called up to say they’d had been found to be de-laminating and they were replacing under warranty. I couldn’t believe it. To replace new would have cost me £850!

Only disadvantage is that for a few outings I will look like a newbie in my bright red gear!
