Here’s a time lapse video of the tide rising and then falling last weekend. The River Arun is the second fastest in the country and this was filmed a couple of days after springs when the range was 5.3m

On this day low water was 0.4m and high water 5.7m at 3pm. The height of tide is shown in the bottom right hand corner.

During my recent Channel crossing to St. Vaast we had horrendous rain and for the first time my Musto MPX trousers seemed to be leaking.
