Long day today. Up at around 7.30am this morning which has definitely been early for us these past few days. Our objective was to sail back from Chichester and this would mean making our way out by 9.30am.
Another lie in, of sorts, after a great evening with the boys at the Folly Inn. We took our time over breakfast and I was torn over where to go today as the wind looked very gentle and the tides didn’t really want to help over to Chichester until much later in the day. We had a decent lie in this morning and Helen suggested we go for a run along Poole Harbour. We ran for about 5km along the shoreline towards Sandbanks. When we got back the boys had already showered and we breakfasted. Too much to ask for them to have it ready I suppose.
The weather forecast last night didn’t hold out much hope for making it over to Poole which was a real shame. It was looking like hanging out in Yarmouth and then possibly Poole tomorrow.
