Today we anchored up outside small but nice bay. We had to use the tender boat to get to dinner. A tender boat is a very small boat that you use to get to shore when you can’t get to close in a big boat. Anyway we all had to squeeze into the tender to go to a restaurant it wasn’t a very long journey but when you are in a tiny boat it is very very uncomfortable.
When we got to the restaurant I had a Hawaiian pizza (ham and pineapple pizza) I had it with a Sprite they were both delicious. When we got back to where we parked our tender it was GONE! We thought it had been stolen but we soon realised we had parked in a lifeguards parking space. But we luckily found our boat at the end of someones small speed boat which we saw zoom past after we had anchored in the yacht. We climbed across the speed boat and squeezed back into the tender, on our journey back we saw a huge fish that jumped up in front of the tender we are not sure what the fish was it might have been an eel because it was long it might have also been a trout or salmon I don’t think it was a tuna but it was a very very big fish. It splashed around near the top of the water for a bit and then went back down again. When we got back to the yacht we connected a rope from the tender to the yacht. When we were all safely on board we all went to bed.
Five minutes into the night we heard fireworks and we then saw them going up over a skyscraper – they were non stop for two minutes. After the fireworks we went back to bed and I fell asleep in minutes.
Thank you for a very interesting blog Joe. At first we thought Daddy has written it but then we realised he couldn’t have expressed himself as clearly as you.
